Evidence: My Sex Trafficker’s “Friends” Blackmailing Me After Cyberstalking Me

“Upon receiving the message, my instinct was to engage—not for validation, but to highlight the intent behind the attack. I replied with an inquiry into their identity, aware that this encounter would likely lead to the very sextortion we had anticipated, and it did, predictably.”

In the shadowy world of sextortion, trafficking, and exploitation, it is not uncommon for victims to encounter misinformation and malicious tactics employed by their abusers and their accomplices for purposes such as intimidation, leverage, blackmail, sextortion, and mental and emotional terrorism. What follows is a troubling piece of genuine evidence in my ongoing narrative—a direct message from an individual whom was, and possibly still is, connected to my trafficker.

The message reads, “So, does your husband know you cheated on him [the rest taken out to maintain the integrity of the case]?” along with a link to a dual-monitor screenshot of a comment I was advised to make on what’s called a ‘honeypot’ account that holds no real relevance to their baseless accusation of cheating. Coincidentally, this was the very same false accusation made by Matthew himself on and off from 2015 through 2019.

At no point did cheating ever occur—there would be no evidence of it—but that was the false narrative he pushed for years.

Screenshot of the blackmail DM from 03/08/2016. The redacted remainder states that if I do not tell my husband their false narrative of “cheating,” which I didn't, then they would do it for me. This "cheating" accusation matches my trafficker’s false claims from 2015 to 2019.

The structure of this communication is telling. It represents a calculated effort to manipulate and harass, executed under the guise of anonymity. Despite the pretense of randomness, it is clear this individual had insight into my personal circumstances—insight that could only stem from my trafficker and his cohorts, who previously admitted to sharing my contact information with them several months prior to this.

Upon receiving the message, my instinct was to engage—not for validation, but to highlight the intent behind the attack. I replied with an inquiry into their identity, aware that this encounter would likely lead to the very sextortion we had anticipated, and it did, predictably. My response hinted at the complex dynamics at play, particularly my husband’s understanding of our relationship, which, while framed by my trafficker as deceit, was a complex arrangement that I believed to be consensual, as supported by our text transcripts.

This exchange forms part of a larger pattern of intimidation and surveillance that has marked my experience. While I can't share the whole story for the integrity of the case, they stated that if I did not tell my husband that I cheated, they would do it for me, which completed the blackmail aspect of this case, occurring after the cyberstalking. Sharing these communications and the context surrounding them is critical, not only for my own safety but also to expose the machinations that underpin trafficking and exploitation.

In this dark arena, knowledge is power, and the truth, however convoluted, must be brought to light.
